The terms and conditions governing your use of Velvet Sky Realm and purchase of our products. Last updated: June 1, 2026.
1. Acceptance and Agreement to Terms
By accessing, browsing, and/or purchasing products from the Velvet Sky Realm website (the “Site”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you are not authorized to use the Site or purchase our products. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Product Information, Descriptions, and Pricing
Velvet Sky Realm makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing for all products displayed on the Site. However, we do not warrant that product information is error-free, complete, or current. Product images are for illustrative purposes and may not precisely represent colors or exact dimensions due to photography and display variations. We reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies, remove or discontinue products, and to refuse or cancel any order placed based on an incorrect price or product information.
3. Ordering Process and Payment Terms
Order Acceptance: All orders are subject to acceptance and confirmation by Velvet Sky Realm. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including orders that appear fraudulent or that violate these Terms. Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), bank transfers (Furikomi), and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment Due: Payment must be received and cleared before we process or ship your order. Pricing: All prices are displayed in Japanese yen (¥) and include applicable Japanese consumption tax. Additional fees (international shipping, customs duties, etc.) may apply and will be disclosed before checkout.
4. Shipping and Delivery Policy
Shipping Options: We offer same-day delivery within Tokyo and nearby prefectures, and next-day delivery nationwide for orders over ¥12,000. Standard domestic shipping typically takes 2–5 business days. International shipping is available to select countries. Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your location and selected delivery method. Delivery Times: While we strive to meet estimated delivery dates, delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk of Loss: Upon shipment, the risk of loss or damage to your order transfers to you. Delays and Liability: Velvet Sky Realm is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs clearance, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond our control. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders.
5. The 60-Night Sleep Guarantee and Returns
Guarantee Scope: We offer a 60-night sleep guarantee (Money-Back Guarantee) on all bedding sets purchased from Velvet Sky Realm, commencing from the date of delivery. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund or exchange. Return Eligibility: Items must be in their original, unused condition with all original packaging and tags intact to qualify for return. Items that show signs of use, damage, or wear are not eligible. Exceptions: Custom monogrammed items, final-sale items (clearly marked), and products damaged by misuse are non-returnable. Return Process: To initiate a return, contact hello@velvetskyrealm.com with your order number. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving and inspecting returned items.
6. Product Warranties and Disclaimers
Limited Warranty: Velvet Sky Realm warrants that all products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery. Defective products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Limitations: This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper care, normal wear and tear, accidents, or unauthorized modifications. Disclaimer: Except as expressly stated above, all products are provided “as is” without any other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that products will meet your specific expectations or requirements.
7. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
When using the Site, you agree not to: (a) Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity; (b) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; (c) Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code; (d) Harass, threaten, or abuse Velvet Sky Realm staff or other users; (e) Reproduce, distribute, or display content from the Site without permission; (f) Use the Site for commercial purposes without authorization; (g) Make excessive requests that disrupt Site operations; or (h) Violate any applicable laws or regulations. Violation of these provisions may result in termination of your account and/or legal action.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the Velvet Sky Realm Site, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, product designs, trademarks, and video, is the property of Velvet Sky Realm or its content suppliers and is protected by Japanese and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, or sell any content from the Site without prior written permission from Velvet Sky Realm. Any unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws and may result in legal liability.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Japanese law, Velvet Sky Realm, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost opportunities) arising from or relating to your use of the Site, products, or these Terms, even if Velvet Sky Realm has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Velvet Sky Realm's total liability exceed the total amount you paid for your purchase.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Velvet Sky Realm, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) Your use of the Site or products; (b) Any violation of these Terms; (c) Any infringement of third-party rights; (d) Any fraudulent or illegal activity by you; or (e) Any other breach of your obligations under these Terms.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and your purchase shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between you and Velvet Sky Realm. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through mediation or, if necessary, brought before the appropriate courts of Japan. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of Japanese courts.
12. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, that provision shall be severed from these Terms without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Velvet Sky Realm regarding your purchase and use of the Site.
